Artist's Description
I spotted this Male Hooded Oriole perched in a tree outside my home one morning. The female was also noticed to be nearby. The male is a pretty yellow to orange with black wings (with white bars), tail throat and upper breast. Hooded Orioles are typically only found in the United States in Arizona, Southern California, Nevada and New Mexico in the summer. They can also be found breeding in southern Texas in the summer and during migration. ~ Oro Valley, Arizona ~ Copyright Mark Myhaver
