Description
Hooded Oriole v1912 Photography by Mark Myhaver
One of my favorite songbirds that frequent my backyard in southern Arizona during the Summer breeding season, usually arriving on the scene by April. The male's distinguished orange hood gives the species it's name. The Hooded Oriole feeds on insects, nectar and fruit.
