Artist's Description
This presents the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception as viewed from across Back Cove in Portland, ME. It is a compressed view as it was captured with the equivalent of a 500mm lens in 35mm format. In the foreground you can see the interstate highway that runs along the opposite side of the bay. The highway is actually about two miles from the church.
